I’m getting the sense that Dominic Dromgoole just wants to write a book about Hamlet

In response to concerns about the somewhat imperial nature of performing Shakespeare in every country without much regard for what those countries actually want, Dromgoole is like “well we’re really really earnest!!” Which is uhh not a good response

Dromgoole talks about Hamlet’s internationalism but there’s a very specific thing he means by internationalism (All over Northwestern Europe)
