This might seem like a strange book for me to read given the work I usually read. But Tom Bower was once a serious author and he has a powerful penmanship. I always find myself drawn in by his way with words.

I have little interest however in the Beckhams, and in many ways, I wish Bower had less interest in them as well, instead focussing his attention on more worthy subjects.
