Finally!

I absolutely love this meeting of the High Lord. When Tamlin finally joined! I almost threw my phone. I love the banter & the edgyness Tamlin has taken on. It's honestly hard not to side with him. When you look at it from his POV, FEYRE IS A "POWER HUNGRY WHORE" & I love it. He's not wrong for thinking what he thinks. It's hard not to question their relationship when the events of the 1st book are still fresh to me.

I just want to note that since I have the whole ACOTAR series as one book on Kindle. I can see that I am 52% done with the series, but yet I am barely halfway done with Wings and Ruin. Honestly, my favorite parts of these books are when Feyre is in danger. Honestly, most of the time, she is just lucky. She didn't plan to go down to the pit to get the thing down there to kill the Ravens.

Sarah J. Maas is a good writer. She is very aware of the actions her characters make and how it would impact the world, others, and even their own conscious. The part where Feyre just went into Lucien's mind. I hated it so much because it was wrong, but then Feyre felt guilty about it. Which was cool because she should feel that way. The moment was ruined when Rhys and her justified it after they talked it out.

Been awhile since I've made an update, but I've been slowly making progress. I haven't really been interested in the book as much since I've had to wait for the council of high lords. I think I might have preferred a time skip, but it's not really Maas' style. It's just that the things that are happening aren't as interesting as the idea of all the high lords together.

Back at it again.

It would be more interesting, in my opinion, if Feyre, Rhys, and the merry band weren't so OP. At least there shouldn't be as much of a power scale difference between all the High Lord's. I would like it better if they all had the potential to kill each other. Whether they work to reach that potential is another story. Both Rhys and Feyre have an absurd amount of power from circumstances out of their control.

Dang, as a man. I don't really like that a woman could come between Tamlin and Lucein's friendship. But the Power of Friendship can only go so far. Also ding dong the twins are dead. They were pretty impressive towards the end. Proof Maas can create intelligent antagonists. Ianthe is just not one of them. I think it would be more impressive to give Ianthe an opportunity to strike back, instead of side-lining her.

Ianthe sucks! This whole book, so far, she hasn't been a good antagonist at all. Like the second book, she was mysterious, conniving, manipulative, and had a goal. In this book, all she has been is desperate and a whore. It's just sad. Like I understand wanting to make Feyre shine, but I feel like there should be a way to do it without dulling the characters she is up against.

Feyre seems to have a skewered perception of the last book. She did not leave the mansion. She was taken out of the mansion. She didn't have a choice in that and after being taken. Staying in the Night Court was just a better option than being locked in the mansion. I'm kind of disappointed in Alis. After deducing, surprisingly, everything, she doesn't guide Feyre away from taking revenge.
