This was great. I was worried it was going to be more of a filler entry for a minute but a lot transpired. The politicking is as always interesting to navigate, especially where the Marid is involved. But it all ended well, seemingly. I’m sure the Ajuri issue will have consequences, and the Shadow Guild is still a threat. It’ll be sad to see Geigi go but at least Cajeiri will have his friends soon

That scene with Damiri, Tabini, and Cajeiri brought me to tears. Obviously atevi do not love but the bonds there are just as close. Oh, damn atevi politics, why can’t they just live normal happy lives? AAAAAH I love this damn series.

I didnt expect Tabini to be in such good humor with a wild parid’ja running amuck. Still, its good to know he’s not entirely overwhelmed by his somewhat tenuous rule as of late.

The whole crew is back from the station. I have missed Bindanda and Narani. The Guild is acting sus as hell right now, which makes me worried that internal conflicts which raised hell in the last trilogy were not properly dealt with. Or worse, the Shadow Guild has a foot in the door so to speak

I never thought Tatiseigi and Bren-ji would have a civilized much less intimate conversation. The Atigeini love for art is a plus as far as I’m concerned.

Okay so not only is the Assassin’s Guild having traitor problems, it’s having an internal conflict amongst its loyal members. There really can be no peace on the ateva earth, can there?
