So far this book is seeming like a 3.5 stars. I am enjoying it but the actual detective work seems very slow? I love when mysteries unravel and reveal themselves in unique ways, whereas it feels like in this one the readers have all the clues and we are just waiting for the other characters to catch up

so I am loving this book so far! there are certain “tropes” I am excited to read about: there is obviously corruption in the police department, a bit of a forbidden love between the new deputy and one of the head-ups at the beloved park and a bunch of mysteries surrounding this super creepy yet totally cool sounding park!
