The only thing I dislike about this book so far is the fact that there are two places the author is talking about. It's not confusing but it's uncomfortable. I don't also get why he was with Seb and all that. I understand that they were rebels capturing kids and lying to them but why?? What is the point of attacking villages full of people that did no harm to you. All those innocent lives.

I cannot believe that they're putting hatred into these kids, they're only twelve and ten and are made to smoke. This world is something else.

So I'm now used to the fact that the book is going back and forth from the past to the present. I feel so sorry for Pascal and the wrong done to so many villages and innocent human beings who had nothing to do with war. I'm so angered and I feel as though I want to get up and go to Africa and to other places of the world where is has been and is being done to innocent people.
