I have to laugh. I just read my review of "Beautiful World..." which said I had to take Rooney's other books off my "to read" list as I found it painstakingly slow and boring. Somehow this book snuck through. I am NOT a fan - again slow & boring (and I still dislike not using quotation marks for dialogue). I'm suffering through though - curious to see if I'll find the ending "trite" as in "Beautiful World..."
