There are many things I love about this book.
So many more things I wish this story and it’s characters did.
Plenty of utterly shit things..

I’ve decided I’m taking away a star rating rn.

The good things aren’t enough to make up for all the shit that’s been crammed in.

Like with most books and stories I read and become invested in, whether they’re good or bad, I tend to make up fan fiction, in my head.
Rewriting the story and characters.

I found myself doing just that with this reread.

This dumbass bitch fmc and a bunch of other stupid writing makes me want to one star this shit.

It makes what could have been a three-four star book, turn into absolute shit most of the time bc the characters and story and plot and writing is so utterly shit.

Don’t even get me started on the MANY errors.

Get a fucking editor.

I hate when the fmc is TSTL.

The fact that she just lets that bitch what’s her face, singing water, get away scot free…. KNOWING what she tried to do to her. What could have happened if Wyn wasn’t a good person.

This fmc is the dumbest bitch alive.

This note is a reread. Prob the fourth or fifth…maybe more..times I’ve reread this book.

It gets worse every time.

Sure there are the many moments that are seriously hilarious…but then the fmc or someone will do something so fucking STUPID. I can’t even.

Now debating whether to read the rest in the series. From memory, the second was meh, and the third had bad reviews so 🤷🏻‍♀️

I know the o my saving grace is that one scene I know is coming up, finally.

The one where what’s his face, the alien lion king, ah, Beowyn-saves the day and all these lizards’ asses. (Fuck, they don’t even have anus do they)

Whatever. I’m done. May finally delete this one anyways. I’m sick and done with it now after so many rereads and nitpicking over all the shit I hate about it

That Thing I knew would happened and misjudged the timing of it earlier, just happened. And I’m somehow more disgusted and annoyed with it, even knowing it would happen, I totally forgot the exact moment it finally landed.

When she made Lumen say that to her mate, I wanted to aim a hose filled with chemical grade disinfectant at the entire scene. It’s like this author took a foul diarrhea stinkin dump here.

And the number of grammatical errors and incorrect usage at certain moments. Like this fucking author using the wrong name of a character in place of another. 🤦🏻‍♀️ This is embarrassing. How hard is it to keep track of this when writing??? More annoying shit that keeps piling up.
I’d be mad if it weren’t for the majority of it being more than passably decent.
