Solid and entertaining. Clearly Stark is a good storyteller with much experience in journalism. I would like to see source citation more consistent with norms of historical secondary source writing. I want in-text cites and not just “selected sources.” Nevertheless, this is a great example of popular history and I turning the pages and enrapt.
