i hyped this book up to samia so much that i had to read it again

was I crying for the last 50 pages? yes. was it quite politcal? also yes. was it crazy good? definitely

AND EVEN THOUGH AREN KNOWS SHES A SPY HE JUMPS INTO THE WATER AFTER HER WHILE SHARKS CIRCLE THEM

She’s half asleep and he says “since the moment I set eyes on you, there’s been no one but you. Even if I’m a goddamned fool for it, there will never be anyone but you”
they’re both extremely in denial still tho so idk how that works

WHY IS SHE TRYNA FAKE HER DEATH WTH

I fully hate every single character except Lara and Aren.
