Please let me know how you like this. I bought a hard copy but got very intimidated by it.

It's very cool, but still a very bulky academic text. So, it's not a book one can finish in a month or so. The good thing is most chapters are somewhat independent, so you're kinda allowed to jump into your favorite topics after finishing the first 3~4 introductory chapters.
