What an adventurous book! You really never know what to expect...

Reading this book keeps being so much fun! But not only fun; it is also unsettling, sometimes strangely and unexpectably touching. Mallo is a master of images. Of meandering. A philosophical conundrum, this book. You can never quite grasp it, surprises lurk everywhere. And yes, sometimes I am frustrated... But I keep reading, as under a spell. Makes me think of Sebald, Lynch, Pynchon, Vonnegut, Egan, Vila-Matas.

Brilliant, so far.
