I am starting to get what makes these characters tick. I am glad this is just a prequel novella...it means that there is a lot more to come.

Elise is cold, efficient, deadly. Not the most sympathetic main character.

This has started out really exciting. there is a lot of "set up" style exposition that is presented quickly in a streamlined way. I like it. This is a great way for me to follow up SM Reine's Seasons of the Moon series.
