Usually I like to pick favorite lines and quote them here, or use them in reviews, but if I were to do that with this book...I would have to include the entire book! Her use of language is lyrical and light, as natural as speech, yet elevated.

Tammy Doherty writes with a pace like Nora Roberts and a wholesomeness of Debbie Macomber, but Tammy is way more sophisticated than Macomber! I am Enjoying the read. I wish there were more hours in the day, but I like having a good story to look forward to during breaks in the day!

Because of the hard work of the author, the reader is transported through both time and space, there is an authentic feel to the setting and an acute understanding of the primitive aspects of the old west with concern to the medical arts! Here is a read that allows the reader to escape!

I love an author that does their research to give an authentic feel to a period piece such as this. Kudos to the author for a job well done. This book is a sheer pleasure to read.
