Is this good?

Interesting and educational, but too US centric. You could consider a book with a more global perspective if there is one.

i read Bill Gates' - How to avoid a climate crisis - earlier this year. It is broader in scope and was very good.

Ok, thanks. l dislike Gates' interventions in health, particularly his bad influence on covid responses. I don't think l will spend money to read him :), but if l find the book somewhere, will check it out. This book is less about the climate crisis though. It's much narrower in scope and centered on the trade-offs involved in mining copper, lithium, rare earths etc. Would have been better if it had covered more of things happening outside the US.
