I want to read Penelope Douglas' biography, so that i can understand what happened in her childhood for her to write such a thing. She is the most unhinged author I know and not in a good way. The MC are not likeable. The only sane MC in this book is Kai. Which is a wild thing to say because he is also fucked up. And Rika is a pick me. Also feminism in this book does not exist at all. Which is concerning.

They went to prison because they are straight up criminals who also SA women, but they still find a way to blame it on Erika because she snitched. Be so f ing for real. Stand up for your actions people..... and Erika still finds ways to defend them even if she does not notice it herself... We'll see how she defends them when she finds out they KILLED HER MOTHER. Bye

If i had to choose a book to be erased from the earth i would choose Corrupt. The 4 men MC killed Erika's mother. They are petty excuse for men. Every character is so horriple that i want to rip the book to shreds. If Erika ends up with Micheal or his brother it will be the worst ending. Banish Penelope Douglas for idolising and writing about abusive men.
