Whyyyy didn’t I heed the warnings in so many reviews? 😩 It really is true that the book starts off so strong and then just goes downhill. I’m literally 80% done and still considering DNFing. I’ll probably just slog through. Such a shame because I enjoyed Mr Magic very much.
