But why is this book so long? Jesus christ. It's like a Robin Hobb book. Just keeps going

I remember a while ago I calculated the total number of pages in the whole Farseer epic and it was like. Tens of thousands. But that first Farseer trilogy (maybe around 2000 pages total) was so good so I forgive her. Robin Hobb I mean. Anyway. Back to Bee Sting
