As a horse back rider, which I think is pretty mechanically similar to riding a dragon, i think their training is stupid. How does an American ninja warrior type obstacle course have anything to do with your balance and strength for riding a dragon? Like it’s completely different muscles and centre of balance and everything

This was so good but I’m not sure why. I hate the trope of boy bestfriend from childhood/longterm childhood crush turned possessive and whiny. It reminds me of mal. But somehow we overcame that and I’m obsessed and sobbed for the last 5 chapters
