ok i thought de morcef was m. de villefort all that time wtf fuck I got confused when I resumed reading after 1 week so why the hell was monte cristo so weird all that time with him he’s nothing to him I thought he was that guy from the beginning gnnnn it’s actually the son of his former fiancée???? Shit I’m stupid
Other than that I got kinda bored midway through but I’m getting super excited again
