I've decided to do one of these experiments a day and finally get this book off my currently reading shelf. I even got down my box of art supplies. I am SERIOUS about this.

So far my favorite thing to come out of messing around with this book is learning you can layer oil pastels on top of sharpie for a really neat effect. The sharpie gives you shape and structure, and oil pastel gives you coverage and texture, and also mutes the sharpie.

Just covered a page in Elmer's glue and sprinkled paper from the shredder over it. Surprisingly fun.

This book really wants me to make a mess. I am not rubbing dirt on my elbows, book.

I bought this to make an ugly mess in, and then was afraid of making an ugly mess in it. God, I'm exhausting. Time to pull it off the shelf and wreck it.
