About the book, how is Donna Tartt just gonna use monologue to tell the “plot” of the story the whole time :/ literally Bunny is an idiot but would’ve been a more interesting protagonist than Richard. At least HE’S figuring things out

Richard is SUCH a passive narrator, pls why do we even follow him?? We can only know as much as him bc it’s 1st person so pls ask some fucking questions.These characters are so dull and the one interesting thing about them is that they murder sometimes.

Am I insane or ?? why is this author renowned ? I have read her other books and what a BORE, these books are WAY TOO LONG :|
