the fact that kai cares so much about his sister (as one should) and kitt says, 'i'd forgotten despite knowing how important her birthday is to him.' to HIM. she was both of their sister and kai being the only one who cares about her, even after she's gone speaks VOLUMES

pae just said, "i hate you" to kai and i just started singing 'so this is love'

take a shot every time you read the word 'sickening' 🍹 (we'll be soo drunk)

i've read the prologue + the first chapter and here are my current thoughts:

- the writing is already better than the first book
- i love how it picked up RIGHT where it left off
- i love the building suspence and questions unanswered from the prologue
- i'm so excited to keep reading eeeeee
