I don’t understand why some people think 3 stars is a bad rating?! Like for me it means the book was good and enjoyable, just wasn’t anything special.

This is how I rate as well! 3 stars is "average" and anything above is exceptionally good. Anything below? Not so great.
I totally agree!! 3 stars is still a good book for me. Just nothing special, but I would still recommend 💖
three stars is actually a pretty good book for me, it says i liked it, i'll definitely read the next if it's in the series but maybe there was just something missing. i only give five stars to books that i'm like emotionally connected to <3
90% of the books I read are 3 stars and for me it means the book was average. 2 stars below imo means the book was bad.
Yes! Just a good book, but nothing special and I probably won’t reread but I didn’t hate it either☺️

Yeah fr 1 star = absolutely not 2 star = no no no 3 star = it was okay could be better 4 = amazing but lacked something 5 star = I’ll think abt that book everyday

4 - now this is something, good characters, story but I didn’t feel the sparkle
