This book is so boring. I thought that I’d learn something interesting about trans* history. But it’s more of the same dull delivery I’ve experienced in other Australian queer history books. There’s just no life to the book at all. I will persist but will be glad once I’m finished. I am an older trans man who transitioned in the 1990s.
