This book is a slog. I was hoping for a cozy mystery romance with some possible supernatural elements based off the cover and title. Instead I'm cringing at the word-vomit dialogue, abominable mental processes these characters make (fl just had a break-in of her store and got hurt so she invites a random gargantuan homeless man she gifts a burrito to, to putter around said store?) and am just overall so confused?
