i very much want to teach this book next year but i am struggling to love it....

i think i am too partial to the original for some of the plot points to hit the same way

i am also struggling to believe a teenager talks the same way as our narrator... she really wants us to think abt socioeconomic standing and is Very Blunt but unrealisticish
