I was diagnosed with adhd in elementary school and I refused to believe it. Looking back now I know I would not have made it passed 6th grade without my teachers understanding and helping me to succeed. I feel so sorry for the people who never got that diagnosis and help and understanding. That said I still was never understood by most. Especially family.
