Not gonna lie - I'm hate finishing this book. Too close to DNF.
Last couple chapters were both incredibly predictable (big reveal - not that surprising) and also literally just threw half of the worldbuilding rules out the window.

Oh dumb dumb Rogan - Prince boy doesn’t know how to shave his own face or make his bed. Also how does he not notice all the stuff getting magicked to their place?

The full moon thing makes no sense. Why don’t they just go home between? Or stay in the actual village? Oh because this abandoned fort conveniently has an ancient archive
