absolutely in love with Murakami's style. also giving lots of credit to the translator, he captures the emotions beautifully.

my heart is heavy for Toru, even more for Naoko. they both seem so lost and i can't help but identify with every depiction of grief and depression. it's a world of hurt, but that just leaves so much room for hope.
