So, I chose this book this morning because I knew it would be short (8 hours) brainless little thriller. The story has the usual tropes etc. it’s fine. BUT OH MY GOODNESS I want to throw the narrator out the window. She is doing absolutely nothing for the story except make every man sound terrible and sleazy and every woman a ditz or unable to speak (or think)in a normal moderate tone. Had to vent. 🫠
