Wow they blueball you there at the end. Resolve a portion of the conflict but still leave some dangling threads to pursue in book 3. I suppose only Shijoshi or however you spell it BYE. But its interesting learning more of Banichi, it makes you wonder how he made time to produce Jago. But I digress. Onto the next!

The plot doth thicken. There’s someone above Haikuti. And a clerical power at that. Quite the pickle, especially for the Assassin’s Guild. Doubt we’ll see any resolution for that until the final book in this particular trilogy. And honestly, another coup isnt off the table either

Wow didnt expect Komaji to be assassinated. Wonder who did it. Damiri is unlikely, but a possibility. But my guess? Shadow Guild. To put in a weak puppet so they can sow more discord among the Northern Association. But that’s only a guess

Seeing Jase again almost brought me to tears. It’s been so long since we’ve seen him. And Cajeiri’s friends, Gene, Artur, and Irene, it was good to see Cajeiri bouncing for joy. I hope nothing bad happens, I swear

Wow a lot is going to shit right off the bat. The Ajuri are probably puppets of the Shadow Guild and Damiri wants to take over Ajuri which would put her in the firing line of this Shadow Guild. Not good.
