one of the most disturbing and relentlessly repulsive texts I’ve ever read. hard to stomach most of it. But man, that prose. Delany is a genius. I’m not sure what all is going on here or what world this is in. It seems to be in the same universe as HOGG. It’s like the gritty crusted imagination of a lonely rural truck stop bathroom.

Reminds me, I still have to read Delany's 'Shoat Rumblin: His Sensations and Ideas' (2020).

Went to hear the author speak a couple of weeks ago. He is awesome.
Philly? The talk about music? That was a great one.
@gerhard, that’s an interesting title, and the cover seems to have Diogenes on it, I’ll have to check it out!! Delany is a genius.
