I was suggested this book when I was looking for nonfiction books that may interest a chemical engineer. Kind of a painful read when considering it’s not written by an engineer and is more of a thought experiment on why fossil fuels are necessary. Just because the world is heavily reliant on them now does not mean we shouldn’t strive to reduce their usage.
