Again with the repeating of phrases!! It’s constant! “Stupid, stupid organ,” referring to her heart pounding near the love interest.

“Homeless…using their powers to entertainment themselves.” This the exact line is repeated over and over.

I really don’t like authors who feel the need to repeat things over and over again. Audiences aren’t dumb.

One of the biggest signs of an inexperienced author I find, is the use of the same phrases over and over within a 1-2 pg section. This author does this constantly and it is maddening. Phrases are used 2-3 times in only a few pgs, & adjectives are used 3 times in one pg. I felt the same way when reading From Blood and Ash. “Gingerly,” for example, was used 4 times in one page to describe taking off a bloody shirt.
