And her employer/ex-friend was even nice enough to give her a letter of reference and find her a new job even after that. And 2 years later she's thriving with her own business. Not loving the set up here.

Like, seriously? And to have the fiance "make it up" to the heroine (not his fiance who he cheated on) by helping her open her own modiste shop just feels like rewarding someone who did wrong.
The cover and summary are selling it as "feel good" story but this shows that they can't be trusted 😒 Why even have cheating be the catalyst for the friends going different ways? So many better options...
