While this is easy to read (a plus) I am disliking the main character (a minus). I haven't read the books listed in the description but it does remind me of Web of Lies by Aly Beck (I liked that main character) which I didn't finish...I don't think this story will be as complex as that was given its length and general vibe at this point but we'll see.
