While the fundamental concepts are interesting, this book is boring at parts as it jumps around between past and future by several centuries.
Understandably the book is broken down by subject, but is not an easy read as it requires the reader to sift through historical text, revisit certain segments, and recollect thoughts pertaining to specific eras time and time again.
