Uh...okay. Yet another character development in the story I did not see coming at all...

Holy crap. I can't spoil it because it's a massive one but...did not see this coming at all. I'm a little shook.

The alternate history in this book is fascinating to hear about. It makes me want to listen to other books in a similar genre.

I read so few books with main characters that have visible parents AND who have good relationships with them, it legitimately a shock to see it in this book.

Started listening to the audiobook to have something to listen to while I'm working on stuff and also to give me breaks from the main book I'm reading.

Damn. Only 2 chapters in, and this book did not pull any punches in its beginning.
