I’m not sure if the writer’s advice in the first chapter I read from this chunk was good or bad? Forcing yourself to overcome getting stuck doesn’t work for everything.

Despite being curious by Eva’s journey, one of the main things I’m noticing is this book might work better as a screenplay given its cinematic feel. Ironic, because Bloom is also a screenwriter.

The main reason why I think this book hadn’t been rated highly appears to be true. Eva does come across as Not Like Other Girls (but I do enjoy her capitalizing words). I’ll keep an eye out for any more self discovery she does. Right now, Bloom’s writing isn’t bad, but the plot does feel a little tedious.
