Malcolm and Serena have a lot of things to work through. In my opinion, they're fairly simple since they married so young. So once those blinders called "silly feelings" are removed, they'll see that the love is still there.
Hopefully it's before Malcolm kills Zander.... I would hate for them to spend their HEA with prison visits and twice a day phone calls!
