I am so fixed on know dates and details so I can form the images in my head correctly when I'm reading, I get really annoyed when I'm not given a clue. Lol.

As far as I know it is Regency, but it's been a long time since I read this.
Ellie, I do the same thing! It's hard to picture the clothes and other details without the date.

I tend to think that historical authors should always start with a date. As we need to get into the time period when we start to story.I have often thought of reading this series, I do have 1of these books .
