Damn! No date. I'm guessing the regency era, but no clues yet.

I hate when the h easily believes the lies of the villain she already knows are evil! Maybe the bad guy is lying never occurs to them

Ellie (On a break, mostly rereading) I am so fixed on know dates and details so I can form the images in my head correctly when I'm reading, I get really annoyed when I'm not given a clue. Lol.

Elaine As far as I know it is Regency, but it's been a long time since I read this.

Lauren Ellie, I do the same thing! It's hard to picture the clothes and other details without the date.

Lauren Elaine, you're correct! The H just mentioned fighting Napoleon. Thank you

You're very welcome Lauren.

Izzah ꒰Duchess of Cabria ಇ ⭑✧ ᴏɴ ᴘᴀᴛʀᴇᴏɴ ✧ ⋆꒱ I remember this book being hilarious, but not why 😅 Can't wait for your thoughts!

🐝 Shaz 🐝 I tend to think that historical authors should always start with a date. As we need to get into the time period when we start to story.
I have often thought of reading this series, I do have 1of these books .

Lauren Izzah, I like the H! He's got personality plus. I'm guessing the humor is going to come from him

Lauren Shaz, I think they should too! It's a pet peeve of mine
