I want to note here that this is a romance, and this 500 year old warlock literally thinks of the main 20-30something woman character (at this stage) as a literal "babe in the woods." This bodes well.

Main cisman dudebro literally keeps her hair and uses it to spy on her? And hopes for a moment that she's being not so innocent? Srs srsly? Is this what, the second or third time being in his POV? 😰

Highlight:
I like Lisa and Dru's characters thus far, just on the surface.
Lowlight: Very quickly, you can tell that the author wrote based on stereotypes and not any actual understanding of subculture. Plus, the author seems to exclusively "tell" emotion instead of showing it so far. The exclusivity drives me absolutely nuts.

Uses "Goth Fetish" and "Control Freak" in the first three pages.
