It’s overly vulgar for no good reason, and the MC is a little piss ant. 😂 but I think I appreciate her character at this stage of my life, because she’s kinda like an angry groundhog that is smol, has questionable ideals, and becomes violent when threatened. because same girl

I’ve been warned of the uncomfortable naughtiness of this book, like ACOTAR, so I’m just waiting. 😂😅

I am a terribly mannered spectator at this point, not sure if I deserve to read this book because I’m viciously critical of it. Once we got to the SJM euphemisms, I just couldn’t anymore. 💀

This book made me pick up a horror novel side read just to wash the taste of it out.

Side note, someone please explain what a “purely masculine scent” is??? Because SJM uses this language too. Purely male. Predatory. Alpha male. Purely alpha male.

Blegh. The thing I like about this is it’s incorporating Irish mythology, which is my niche interest of mine as a writer… So we will not DNF this. Maybe.

In today’s episode of Finding Nemo, our love interest squawks, “Mine! Mine! Mine!”

If a dude can “brand” you by touching your shoulder, we have issues, ladies.

The possessive alpha male trope isn’t my cup of tea if you couldn’t tell, especially if it’s way overdone. 😖 this is also WAY too reminiscent of ACOTAR—in a bad way. I generally don’t point out similarities but geesh.
