I want to like this book because it's Regency fiction and I believe Carolyn Miller wrote one of the stories in the Regency Christmas book that I own. But . . . I have an issue with the heroine being presented as a personification of perceived Christian perfection. She seems to have no real emotions, just prayers for situations. And I take issue with that. People react to bad things happening, and they should.
