Really enjoying the book. Jeannette does a great job portraying the complicated enmeshment of her and her mom. While I’ve always believed parents of child stars are all awful people, Jeannette can make the reader feel the sympathy she carried for her mom during her childhood. And then we get snapped back to reality by her awful actions.
