Love this book so far. The chapters on that Japanese officer getting caught by the Mangolian army and ending up in that well was incredible. Best part of the book so far.

No sure about Toru getting lost in his aimless life. I like the idea but his interactions with the two sisters and the sixteen year old have been a bit annoying.
