Lol you heard me. Maybe a little tmi but K. Louis XIV had an anal fistula that they didn't know how to treat. So basically he had a doctor go and try out surgical techniques on other people and develop a special scalpel to help him. There was no anesthesia, numbing, or antiseptic practices. Quite gnarly.
