the book dosen't make much sense, as farms are very important for the wealth and protection of a country, if I was invading Australia I would bomb the cities at the same time, and I would bomb the parliament so all the leaders of the country are displaced and there's gap in power to be filled by the new government, with the risk of their life everyone would just follow the orders and follow suit
