it really picks up after chapter 6 (now im on chapter 11). theres still random, unnecessary flowery language but its much easier to skim over until you get to concrete stuff again.

that last part is what im talking about. i dont need a metaphor to little red riding hood. was the author given a word count requirement and this is how she hit it? it doesnt flow with the tone at all

its getting better but theres still way too much flowery language for a non-fiction book. its mental gymnastics going from "this is what happened" to "oh thats a metaphor/not to be taken literally" idk how to explain it. i need to find an example.

I hope this author gets more organized as the book progresses cause damn she's all over the place. She also needs to break some paragraphs up like jeez. If the topic changes, new paragraph. It's not hard.
